Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Jan the Web Guy. These terms and conditions govern your use of our services. By engaging with us, you agree to these terms.

1. Services

Jan the Web Guy provides web development services, including but not limited to website design, development, hosting, and SEO.

2. Quotations and Payments

All quotes are valid for 30 days.

Payment terms will be agreed upon in writing before the commencement of any project.

Projects are billed on a subscription basis or as per agreed terms. Late payments may result in suspension of services.

3. Ownership and Intellectual Property

Ownership of the website and its content remains with Jan the Web Guy until full payment is received.

Clients must ensure that all content provided does not infringe on intellectual property rights.

4. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate content, feedback, and timely communication.

Any delays caused by the client may affect the project timeline.

5. Revisions and Edits

Revisions are limited to the scope defined in the project agreement.

Additional revisions may incur extra charges.

6. Hosting and Maintenance

Hosting is provided as part of our service package. However, downtime or technical issues beyond our control are not the responsibility of Jan the Web Guy.

Maintenance is available as per the agreed package or on request.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement with a 30-day written notice.

Refunds will not be provided for completed work.

8. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of all shared information during and after the project.

9. Liability

Jan the Web Guy is not liable for:

Any loss of income, profits, or data due to service interruption.

Third-party issues affecting website performance.

10. Amendments

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes.

11. Non-Payment and Suspension of Services

Jan the Web Guy reserves the right to suspend any and all websites or services provided to a client if payment is not received within 7 days of the billing date.

Services will only be reinstated once the outstanding balance has been settled in full.

Prolonged non-payment exceeding 30 days may result in permanent suspension or termination of services, and Jan the Web Guy is not liable for any losses incurred by the client as a result of such action.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
